Job description: Home Lead Pharmacy TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Home Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships with caregivers, patients, and family members, ensuring their needs and safety are met or exceeded. Your responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, interacting professionally with customers, physicians, clinic staff, and facility staff, and gathering necessary information to accurately process patient prescriptions.Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Interact professionally with customers, physicians, clinic staff, and facility staff.
• Gather appropriate information for processing patient prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate records of medications and equipment dispensed to patients.
• Ensure accurate entry of patient data into pharmacy software programs.
• Enter correct insurance information and properly adjudicate claims.
• Collaborate with co-workers, pharmacists, and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Secure protected health information and required paperwork.
• Process customer payments for prescriptions and account charges.
• Maintain sufficient inventory levels when ordering products for the pharmacy.
• Receive and store incoming products and supplies, including counting, stocking, and entering computer data.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician with 2+ years of experience.
• Must have or be eligible for WI Pharmacy Technician Registration
• Strong problem solving skills
• Customer service skills
• Proficient with electronic pharmacy programs
• Experience supporting customers over the phone.
• Trouble shooting capabilities

Work EnvironmentThe work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with one late shift per week typically extending until 8 p.m. Additionally, the role requires working one Saturday per month from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is a fully onsite role.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
