We're seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Home Away From Home Innovator to join our team as a Foster Care Recruitment Specialist. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in recruiting and certifying foster parents for our Enhance Family Foster Care programs in the Bronx and Manhattan.

Key Responsibilities
As a Home Away From Home Innovator, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract prospective foster parents for our Enhance Family Foster Care programs. Your primary goals will be to:
- Recruit prospective foster homes for Enhance Family Foster Care programs in Bronx and Manhattan through outreach and follow-up activities.
- Promote CMCS' foster care programs at community events, networking opportunities, and through various marketing channels.
- Develop and implement marketing techniques and strategies to engage prospective foster parents, particularly for specialized groups.
- Build and maintain relationships with community services, colleges, employment agencies, and other organizations to identify potential foster parent candidates.
- Maintain accurate tracking of all outreach activities and inquiries to inform future recruitment efforts.
- Strengthen customer service and supports to retain existing foster parents and encourage referrals.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Essential Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field (strongly preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of child welfare principles and practices (experience preferred).
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Child welfare experience, particularly in foster care recruitment and retention.
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Experience with marketing and outreach initiatives, particularly in a non-profit or social services context.
