Purpose and Scope:
- Will assist our Providers in assessing, treating, and creating care plans
- Act as an educator and consultant to staff nurses and other health care professionals
- Will work alongside a team of 3 Providers and 7 other clinical staff members
- Will work side by side with experienced nurses and will have direct responsibility for patients and care plans
- Working knowledge of wound types, dressings used, and skin grafts/ skin substitutes
- Will gain Case Management experience by coordinating primary care and home health needs
- Working hand in hand with MDs and NPs in an interdisciplinary field
- Will gain a working knowledge of hyperbaric chambers and HBOT
- Wonderful path for people with a natural inclination for teaching, positivity, and compassion
- Hospital-based outpatient practice with privileged access to other specialty providers
- Routine collaboration with our VHC Physician Group Podiatrist, Plastic Surgeon, Infectious Disease Providers, and Inpatient departments

- RN Licensure with Reciprocity in the state of Virginia
- BLS for the Healthcare Provider CPR
- 1 year Med/Surg experience preferred
- Wound Care experience a plus
- Keen attention to detail and effective organizational skills
- Autonomous thinker who also enjoys working in a team setting
- Comfortable working in a prepper, case manager, wrapper staffing model
- Responsible for critical thinking and collaborative input on decisions
