Amini is building the sovereign, AI-native distributed infrastructure stack for the Global South, giving governments and enterprises the data, compute, and connectivity they need to own and govern their digital future, rather than depend on outside platforms. We already work with governments including Barbados, and our work has been recognised by TIME100 AI, MIT Solve, and the World Economic Forum. We help our partners and customers put AI to work in ways that drive real growth, and make sure that opportunity is shared more equally across the Global South.

Our core values, Collaboration, Trust, Integrity, Humility, and Passion, are at the heart of everything we do. In practice, that means defaulting to sharing credit and information openly, being honest about what we don't yet know, and choosing to admit a mistake early rather than protect an ego.

Our team is small, highly skilled, and non-hierarchical. We recognise the transformational nature of our work, but we stay humble and ego-free about it. We believe in fully using our skills and experience, sharing ideas openly, and making a collective impact, one we intend to grow from the governments and communities we already work with today into a much broader influence on the AI industry and lives across the Global South.

We are entering a critical scaling phase, moving from project-based delivery to a repeatable platform deployed across multiple jurisdictions simultaneously. That scaling depends on hiring well, continuously, and across almost every function: Engineering, Product, Machine Learning, Operations, Commercial, Customer Operations & Success, and Sales/Business Development.

This (initial) 6 month role includes managing the hiring process end to end, but process management alone isn't what we're hiring for. The fundamental skill we need is search: someone who actively maps talent markets, builds and maintains a real candidate network, and proactively sources high-quality talent using a range of methods and channels, rather than someone who mainly manages a pipeline of inbound applicants. You will manage end-to-end hiring for roles across the business, partnering closely with stakeholders to attract and close top talent.

As Amini expands into new countries, you will also need to navigate country-specific employment law and hiring practices, ensuring we hire compliantly wherever we operate, while still delivering an excellent, well-paced candidate experience.

Amini is a remote-first company, which means roles can sit in almost any geography rather than being tied to a single hub. You should be comfortable recruiting across multiple regions at once, ideally with experience hiring in the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, and North and South America.

You'll need to build real market maps, knowing, for example, that much of the Caribbean's tech-adjacent commercial talent sits inside a small number of regional telecom and global tech companies, and use that intelligence to source proactively rather than waiting for applications to come to you.
