Job Description:
• Prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing sales for IDEXX’s Rapid Assay, Chemistry, and Fecal businesses through phone, email, and virtual meetings with customers.
• Collaborate with the field-based Veterinary Diagnostic Consultants (VDCs) in your assigned geography to agree on and prioritize opportunities to generate revenue.
• Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and present tailored solutions to drive business growth.
• Partner with the broader commercial ecosystem, as needed, to ensure successful implementation and conversion of different growth initiatives.
• Use sales tools to maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities in a high-volume outbound calling and email environment.
• Lead IDEXX Rapid Assay, Chemistry, and Fecal product sales conversations within assigned territory.
Requirements:
• 5+ years’ experience selling products and/or services to customers almost exclusively via telephone and internet (e.g., chat, email, video conferencing, etc.)
• Candidates in MST or PST are preferred.
• Diagnostic or life sciences sales preferred.
• Experience developing new accounts and/or generating new business from existing accounts.
• Executes core activities with some assistance / guidance from manager.
• Experience pursuing sales leads within assigned territory, defined by geographic area, industry, or product/service segment in alignment with field ecosystem.
• Experience executing sales strategy, identifying new opportunities/leads, and leveraging sales tools to deliver sales outcomes.
