Instructional Aide
Job Summary of Instructional Aide:
Help school systems in maintaining educational continuity by delivering effective instruction in the absence of regular teachers, promoting a consistent learning experience through the implementation of lesson plans, classroom management, and engaging student participation.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Instructional Aide:
• Carry out lesson plans and provide instruction as per the school’s guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and regulated classroom environment.
• Aid students in comprehending the subject matter and completing their tasks.
• Ensure that school officials are briefed on student progress, attendance updates, and disciplinary matters for informed decision-making.
• Fulfill any extra tasks as required by school administrators.
Qualifications and Experience of Instructional Aide:
• The eligibility criteria include holding a Substitute Certification recognized, as well as having a minimum of 30 college credits, for applicants without a teaching certification.
• Certified applicants must demonstrate possession of a Valid NJ CE, CEAS, or Standard Teacher Certification.
• Aptitude in English demonstrated in spoken communication, reading comprehension, and written expression.

Salary:
Compensation is set between $90 and $140 for each day worked, with the actual amount dependent on the individual’s experience and the school district.
