The Investigations & Response Manager, Customer Trust & Privacy sits at the strategic intersection of Product, Engineering, and Customer Service. You will lead a dedicated privacy‑focused pod, align privacy operations with broader business goals, and translate frontline insights into actionable product improvements. Key Responsibilities
- I&R Privacy Pod Oversight: Lead a high‑performing team of privacy specialists, set clear objectives, and drive continuous improvement in handling privacy‑related member inquiries.
- Privacy Operations Alignment: Partner with the Privacy Operations group to synchronize strategic priorities, ensuring a unified response to emerging privacy challenges.
- Strategic Collaboration with Product & Engineering: Prepare Customer Service for new product launches, updates, and feature rollouts, focusing on trust, account security, payments fraud, and privacy.
- Customer Service Insights & Product Innovation: Extract and deliver data‑driven insights from member interactions to shape product roadmaps and enhance security features.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, and Customer Service, acting as the bridge that connects technical vision with member experience.
- CS Advocacy: Represent the voice of Customer Service in product discussions, ensuring that frontline feedback informs decision‑making.
- Agent Readiness & Knowledge Management: Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles, help‑center content, news posts, and notifications that empower agents to resolve privacy inquiries confidently.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Facilitate seamless cooperation between Customer Service and other departments to support new initiatives and mitigate risks.
- Forecasting & Resource Planning: Provide strategic input on staffing forecasts based on upcoming product changes, ensuring the team is adequately resourced.
- Impact Analysis & Risk Mitigation: Conduct thorough impact assessments of product changes on member experience and CS operations, recommending proactive measures.
- Project Management: Lead end‑to‑end projects related to product launches, privacy initiatives, and cross‑functional efforts, delivering on time and within scope.
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience in fast‑paced, product‑centric environments, preferably within privacy, compliance, fraud, trust & safety, or customer service domains.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high‑sensitivity requests and lead teams through complex, ambiguous situations.
- Deep understanding of global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and practical experience applying them to large‑scale consumer services.
- Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders (director level and above) across multiple functional areas.
- Exceptional stakeholder‑management skills with a history of building bridges between product, engineering, and operations teams.
- Strong analytical mindset: ability to synthesize high‑complexity data, identify trends, and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
