Javvy is on a mission to set a new standard for café favorites with better-for-you beverages that are craveable, convenient, and without compromise. Positioned at the intersection of café culture, convenience, and functional nutrition, we’re reimagining the drinks people buy every day — proving you don’t have to compromise between great taste and quality ingredients. What began as a cult-favorite DTC brand has rapidly scaled into an omnichannel business, now expanding into major retail while building a loyal community around better-for-you café favorites.
The Opportunity:
This role is responsible for ensuring our team has secure, reliable, and well-managed technology while building practical processes that scale with the business. Rather than implementing large enterprise platforms or building everything from scratch, you'll optimize our existing systems, establish consistent IT practices, and partner with trusted third-party vendors for specialized services like cybersecurity and endpoint protection.
You'll be the primary owner of IT operations—keeping employees productive, managing system access, supporting onboarding and offboarding, coordinating vendors, and helping the business make thoughtful technology decisions.
What You’ll Own:
Employee IT Operations
Own day-to-day IT operations for employees across the business
Provide hands-on support for hardware, software, SaaS applications, and general technical issues
Manage company-issued Mac and Windows devices for U.S. employees through Rippling Device Management
Ensure devices are properly enrolled in MDM, compliant with company security settings, and remain up to date
Support our international contractor workforce, balancing security with the realities of personally owned devices
Identity & Access Management
Own employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective
Create consistent processes for provisioning and deprovisioning access across all business systems
Manage user accounts, permissions, MFA, and role-based access
Conduct periodic access reviews to ensure employees have appropriate system permissions
Maintain documentation of access standards and onboarding workflows
Google Workspace Administration
Serve as administrator for Google Workspace
Manage users, groups, permissions, security settings, and organizational policies
Troubleshoot Workspace issues and support employees
Help maintain a secure, well-organized collaboration environment
Security & Vendor Management
Serve as the internal owner of cybersecurity initiatives
Evaluate, recommend, and manage third-party vendors for services such as:
Endpoint protection
Email security
Phishing awareness and training
Endpoint monitoring and detection
Other security solutions as the business grows
Coordinate implementation and ongoing management of security vendors
Partner with external experts to continuously improve our security posture
Help establish practical security policies and best practices across the organization
Systems & SaaS Management
Develop a complete understanding of the systems used across the business
Maintain an inventory of software, vendors, licenses, and owners
Identify overlapping tools, unused licenses, and opportunities to simplify our technology stack
Partner with department leaders to ensure teams have the right tools while managing costs responsibly
Negotiate renewals and help optimize software spend
IT Policies & Process Improvement
Create practical IT policies and documentation that fit a growing startup
Standardize device setup, onboarding, offboarding, access management, and security practices
Build repeatable processes that improve consistency without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
Recommend improvements that provide meaningful business value while maximizing our existing technology investments
