As a Customer Service Specialist in our Government and Corporate Affairs Division, you'll be a key member of our Corporate Affairs Team, working closely with our government and corporate partners to promote and sell air travel on blithequark. You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers, resolving their problems and providing exceptional service with a smile.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell air travel on blithequark to government and corporate clients
- Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets
- Answer inquiries regarding general travel information and resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner
- Communicate with customers over the phone to research passenger complaints, advise of cancelled or delayed flights, and communicate new rules, policies, and procedures that affect the customer
- Work collaboratively with our government and corporate partners to develop and implement effective solutions to meet their needs
All You'll Need for Success
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills
- Knowledge of Native SABRE
- Ability to be resourceful and creative at immediate problem resolution
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable
- Satisfactory attendance required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field
- Knowledge of the airline industry and its operations
- Experience working with government and corporate clients
- Fluency in multiple languages
