As a Clearances & Licensing Manager - Payment Partners, you will play a crucial role in driving the curation, clearance, and licensing of rights-managed content for our marketing efforts. Job Summary:
As a Clearances & Licensing Manager, you will work closely with our Business Affairs team, Geo teams, and App Store and Apple Pay marketing teams to understand content needs and recommend and secure appropriate content. You will be responsible for negotiating rights, analyzing risk, and developing processes regarding business affairs contracts and licenses for marketing and advertising. If you have a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in business affairs, clearances, or licensing, and are proficient in current document and database systems, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand marketing deliverables and recommend content
- Review marketing and advertising materials to identify rights and compliance issues
- Negotiate usage rights and secure consent for Apple marketing and advertising use
- Partner with Legal to assess risks and provide strategic options to internal teams
- Maintain communication with team leads to ensure information is flowing properly and issues are escalated at the right time
- Manage a heavy workload of third-party curation and clearances
Requirements:
- Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in business affairs, clearances, or licensing
- Experience in negotiating rights, analyzing risk, and developing processes regarding business affairs contracts and licenses
- Proficiency in current document and database systems
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle high-level responsibilities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
