As an Area Manager, you will play a vital role in leading a team of hourly workforce, driving safety, quality, attendance, and performance excellence, while ensuring seamless customer delivery experiences.
Our Operations workflow is divided into three key components: First Mile (product housing and order preparation), Middle Mile (order transportation), and Last Mile (delivery to customers). While each site may have unique variations, our commitment to customer satisfaction remains unwavering.
Key Responsibilities and Job Elements:
- Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to drive business objectives
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises, ensuring a world-class customer experience
- Lift up to 49 pounds, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, with the ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
- Work in a dynamic environment with varying noise levels, temperatures, and weather conditions (including outside loading departments)
- Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs), demonstrating adaptability and flexibility
