Responsibilities:
- Perform duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act
- Contribute to the development of patient care plans and follow through with implementation
- Administer medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy
- Maintain exam rooms and work environment to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
- Document nursing care and activities accurately and efficiently
- Assist with patient care and monitoring during procedures
- Assist with training and development of other staff members
- Support departmental assistant with clinical matters
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse
Experience:
- Prefer at least 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room, and/or hospital setting
- Experience in office clerical activities desirable
Licensure/Certification:
- Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for duration of employment
Compensation and Benefits:
