As a Personal Caregiver with Cornerstone Caregiving, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Provide personalized care and support to clients, including medication management, mobility assistance, and personal hygiene
- Prepare nutritious meals and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life
- Collaborate with our care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist clients with prescribed medication and medical appointments
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment, including light housekeeping and laundry
- Offer companionship and social interaction, engaging in activities and conversations that promote clients' mental and emotional well-being
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1+ year of caregiving experience, preferably in a home care or healthcare setting
- A genuine passion for helping others, with a compassionate and empathetic approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Willingness to travel to client locations, with a reliable means of transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality
