Junior Accounts Receivable Representative
Remote | Full-Time Contractor Position Preferred Time Zones: CST, MST, PST
At The Testing Agency, we provide environmental inspection and testing services for homeowners, and insurance carriers. We are a fast-paced company focused on responsiveness, problem solving, and maintaining strong relationships with both homeowners, contractors, and insurance professionals.
We are looking for a Junior Accounts Receivable Representative who is collaborative, professional on the phone, and comfortable helping guide insurance carriers and homeowners through payment-related conversations. This is an entry-level to junior-level role focused on communication, organization, and finding practical solutions while maintaining a positive customer experience.
What You’ll Do
• Handle inbound calls and text messages from homeowners, and adjusters.
• Make outbound follow-up calls for non-escalated accounts and unpaid invoices.
• Collect payments from homeowners and insurance companies.
• Assist customers with invoice questions, payment status updates, and general account support.
• Document communication and account updates accurately within multiple CRM systems.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve payment issues efficiently.
• Help identify practical solutions that move accounts toward payment while maintaining positive relationships.
• Escalate complex or sensitive issues to senior team members when necessary.

• Comfortable learning and using multiple CRMs and software platforms daily.
• Collaborative mindset focused on working with customers toward payment solutions
• Ability to think independently and problem solve
• Good use of tactical empathy, and active listening skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated in a remote environment.
Preferred Experience
• Customer service, call center, administrative, or accounts receivable experience is helpful but not required.
• Experience working with insurance companies, contractors, or service-based businesses is a plus.
• Prior remote work experience is a plus.
