Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional K-5 Spanish Teacher to join our EP Online team. As a .083 FTE, EP Online teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire young minds and make a lasting impact on the educational journey of our students. This position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with time in our Eden Prairie office. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality instruction and fostering a love of learning in our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our online students
- Provide high-quality instruction in Spanish language and culture to K-5 students
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
- Build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in online education
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrators through regular updates and progress reports
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Education or a related field
- Minnesota Teacher License: Elementary Education or Spanish (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in teaching Spanish language and culture to K-5 students (online or traditional classroom setting)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote and office-based environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with online teaching platforms and digital tools
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
- Experience with project-based learning and inquiry-based instruction
- Familiarity with educational technology and innovative teaching methods
