Key Responsibilities • Facilitate open discussions with clients to explore their emotions and experiences, thereby promoting self-awareness and personal growth. • Act as a strong advocate for clients, helping them identify their needs and establish achievable, measurable goals tailored to their circumstances. • Conduct individual counseling sessions, efficiently leveraging technology to deliver both video and in-person sessions to best meet each client's needs. • Monitor and evaluate clients' mental health statuses, creating customized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and utilizing evidence-based practices. • Implement solution-based approaches, regularly reviewing treatment efficacy and adapting strategies as necessary to ensure continual progress. • Contribute to interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and collaborate on complex cases, enhancing the collective knowledge and skills of the team. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients we serve encompass a broad spectrum of backgrounds and diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications • A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution. • Current licensure in the state of California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). • Proven experience providing mental health counseling services to a variety of client demographics, including individuals, couples, and families. • Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds. • Commitment to cultural competence, demonstrating sensitivity and understanding of diverse client needs and identities. • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills that facilitate dynamic interactions with clients and multidisciplinary team members. • Ability to work independently as well as participate fully in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Experience • Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for delivering mental health counseling services effectively. • Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. • Track record of advocating for clients in mental health initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing access to mental health resources.
