Summary
As the Medical Director at Recovery Beach, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the medical treatment of patients battling addiction. Your expertise will guide our clinical team in delivering high-quality care while ensuring compliance with medical regulations and standards. This position is essential in shaping the future of our addiction treatment programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all medical aspects of addiction treatment programs, ensuring high standards of patient care.
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Develop and implement treatment protocols that align with best practices in addiction medicine.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other relevant healthcare standards.
- Conduct research to improve treatment methodologies and patient outcomes.
- Manage medical records and documentation to maintain accurate patient information.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care strategies.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in psychiatry or addiction medicine preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of physiology and anatomy as it relates to addiction treatment.
- Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting, particularly in addiction services.
- Strong understanding of managed care systems and budgeting processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
