Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) (1099 Contractor)
Pay Rate: $44-$56 (Based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time

Caseload: Mostly Elementary
Location: Remote: (serving California school districts)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Virtual School Occupational Therapist licensed in California to provide remote psychological services to K12 students. This 1099 independent contractor role offers flexibility while supporting students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs in a virtual environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to students based on individualized educational needs
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility and service recommendations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, and functional life skills
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service records
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Technical Requirements:
• Reliable high-speed
internet connection
• Secure, confidential
workspace compliant with student privacy standards
• Computer with webcam and
ability to use virtual assessment/telehealth platforms
Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license/certification (required)
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Knowledge of special education processes and IEP development
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
Passion for supporting student growth and independence
