Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development
- Transport children to and from childcare, after-school activities, and other destinations as needed
- Assist with online learning, homework, and other educational tasks
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks, and maintain a clean and organized environment
- Provide personal care, including bathing, diaper changing, and dressing
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment, including implementing COVID-19 preventative measures
- Develop and maintain a daily routine that includes sleep time, meal times, and playtime
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a verifiable telephone number and valid Social Security Number
- Be able to pass a standard background check
- Be reliable, honest, and hardworking, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care
- Have experience working with children, either through previous babysitting or other relevant roles
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly valued:
- Previous experience working with children of similar ages and needs
- First aid and CPR certification
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers
- Flexibility and adaptability in scheduling and responsibilities
