Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time Paraeducator to provide instructional support and assistance to students at Raft River High School. As a PART TIME PARAEDUCATOR, you will work closely with certified teachers and other support staff to deliver targeted instruction, facilitate parent involvement, and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and instructional support to students in math and reading
- Assist with class management, organization, and preparation of materials
- Develop and implement parent involvement activities to foster a collaborative learning environment
- Work under the supervision of a certified teacher to deliver instructional services and support student learning
- Assume limited non-program related duties, as needed, to support the school community
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful work environment, adhering to district policies and procedures
- Interact effectively and professionally with students, parents, staff, faculty, and administration
- Respect and practice confidentiality regarding student records, activities, and communications
- Attend in-services, training sessions, and meetings, as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or certified teacher
Qualifications and Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or a minimum of 32 education-related credits
- Alternatively, pass the Para Pro Test (contact Nicole Gee at 208-878-6600 for more information)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Paraeducator or in a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment
