Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Part-Time HR Generalist with hands-on experience using the ADP PEO Workforce platform. This role will support essential HR functions including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, performance evaluation tracking and data management. The ideal candidate is bilingual, organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a part-time capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Compliance
• Support daily HR activities, including onboarding, offboarding, maintaining employee records, and handling general HR inquiries
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Maintain accurate and confidential HR documentation
ADP PEO Workforce Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for ADP PEO Workforce platform tasks
• Manage employee data entry, payroll updates, benefit changes, and reporting within ADP
• Coordinate with ADP PEO representatives on compliance and system-related needs
• Pull and analyze ADP reports to support HR and leadership decisions
Recruitment & Onboarding
• Assist with posting job openings, screening applicants, and scheduling interviews as needed
• Support new-hire onboarding, ensuring all documentation, background checks, and I-9 verifications are completed
Employee Relations & Support
• Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, payroll, and benefits
• Support supervisors with performance management documentation and employee relations matters
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture
• Monitor performance evaluation cycles, ensuring timely completion and proper documentation
Benefits & Payroll Support
• Assist employees with benefit enrollment questions and changes
• Monitor time and attendance updates within ADP
• Provide administrative support during payroll cycles (PEO-managed) to ensure accuracy
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
• 2–5 years of HR generalist experience
• Required: Previous experience working with the ADP PEO Workforce platform
• Strong understanding of HR regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
