Job description: Kalamazoo Long Term Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented full-time Pharmaceutical Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this position, you will support long-term care facilities by ensuring accurate and timely entry of prescription and medication orders. YOUR DAYAs a Pharmaceutical Data Entry Clerk, you will have a critical responsibility in maintaining precise medication and patient information for our long-term care facilities, which include PACE, AFCs, and assisted living facilities. Your role will involve ensuring that prescription data, patient profiles, and medication administration records (MARs) are consistently accurate and up-to-date, in line with facility-specific protocols and deadlines. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with facility staff to address special billing needs, refill requests, and medication-related issues, while also maintaining effective communication with healthcare professionals.YOUR SCHEDULEMonday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional overtime or weekend work.REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy technician license or eligibility to a pharmacy technician program
• Experience in data entry, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting serving long-term care facilities
• Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems, with a strong understanding of facility-specific requirements and workflows
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices related to medication dispensing and documentation in long-term care settings
• Willingness to comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, and patient protocols
• Willingness to complete annual education online requirements
• Willingness to abide by the code of conduct and ensure that all activities are conducted ethically following applicable laws and regulations
