The right candidate will have experience teaching children of various ages and will possess natural leadership skills. Because we're a growing organization, we're currently seeking a dependable and energetic Teacher who is passionate about helping our students learn. It's important that the right candidate has a background in education, as well as some experience working with children.
Responsibilities:

• Teach academic and/or extracurricular topics.
• Maintain a professional environment in the classroom.
• Meet or exceed state qualifications or certifications.
• Ensure that students meet learning standards.
• Set high expectations for student performance and behavior.
• Interact with parents, other teachers and staff members, and school administrators.
• Communicate with students about course content via presentations, textbooks, worksheets, and other materials.
• Create lesson plans and adapt them as needed; effectively and efficiently use the time in class.
• Use teaching approaches that engage students in their own learning process.

Duties

Tracking students in/out
Providing a safe and nurturing environment
Creating and implementing age appropriate curriculums

Requirements

Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must have a High School Diploma/GED
