Role Overview
- This isn’t your typical “write-the-requirements-and-move-on” BA role.
- As a Product Business Analyst (Software / SaaS), you’ll be the translator between vision and execution — shaping how ideas become real, usable products.
- SaaS product/platform environment
- Not a CRM implementation, support, or third-party configuration-focused BA role
- Focused on software delivery, workflows, and product behaviour
- Agile software engineering team
- Product-focused BA role working closely with Developers and QA
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate product initiatives into structured requirements.
- Define workflows, system behaviors, and business rules.
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
- Collaborate with developers and QA during delivery.
- Identify edge cases, dependencies, and system interactions.
- Support backlog refinement and sprint planning.
- Ensure alignment between product requirements and delivered features.
Requirements
Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
- 5+ years experience as a Software Business Analyst or Product Business Analyst.
- Experience with SaaS or web-based platforms.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Lucid-chart, or similar tools.
- Proven ability to write clear, structured requirements and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
