Program Underwriter - Commercial Lines (Remote)About the OpportunityWe are partnered with a leading national program administrator seeking a Program Underwriter to join their team on a fully remote basis. This role sits within a well-established programs division with strong carrier backing and a diverse portfolio of niche commercial lines programs.This is an opportunity to work across delegated authority programs, supporting underwriting strategy, portfolio management, and broker engagement within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderwrite and manage risks within assigned specialty commercial programs under delegated authorityEvaluate submissions, pricing, coverage structure, and exposure across various lines (primarily Property & Casualty)Support program performance, including profitability, growth, and retention metricsPartner with program managers, carriers, and distribution partners to execute underwriting strategyAnalyze portfolio trends, loss activity, and rate adequacy to drive underwriting decisionsAssist with program audits, compliance, and adherence to carrier guidelinesMaintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and internal stakeholdersQualifications3-7+ years of commercial underwriting experience, preferably within programs or delegated authority environmentsExposure to P&C lines (Property, GL, Package, or specialty lines)Experience working with or supporting MGA/program business strongly preferredStrong analytical mindset with the ability to assess risk and portfolio performanceFamiliarity with carrier underwriting guidelines and compliance requirementsExcellent communication and relationship management skillsWhat's OfferedFully remote work environmentCompetitive base salary + bonusExposure to a diverse portfolio of specialty insurance programsStrong internal growth and career progression opportunitiesCollaborative, high-performing team environment
