Job Summary
We are seeking a California Board of Psychology–registered Psychological Associate to provide psychotherapy services to adults across two populations: Workers’ Compensation (WC) claims and managed care (non-WC) clients. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work with diverse clinical presentations while receiving structured supervision.
Clinical Focus
• WC: PTSD, depression, trauma-related disorders, chronic pain, CBT-based treatment
• Managed care: Depression, anxiety, trauma, CBT-based treatment
Duties
• Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine client needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients experiencing acute mental health challenges.
• Manage medical documentation accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining comprehensive medical records.
Skills
• Provide individual psychotherapy to adult patients via telehealth (Zoom), including assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient’s needs
• Monitor patient progress, adjust therapeutic strategies as appropriate
• WC: PTSD, depression, trauma-related disorders, chronic pain
• Managed care: Depression, anxiety, trauma
• Proven experience in psychotherapy or clinical counseling within outpatient or inpatient settings.
• Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management strategies.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and medical records management.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and delivering mental health services remotely across California.
• Competence in applying cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
• Ability to conduct patient assessments, intake interviews, and diagnostic evaluations effectively.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards for patient confidentiality and medical documentation practices.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients in individual or group settings while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.

Compensation:
• $35/hour
• Paid monthly
