About the position
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes during afternoon and evening hours. As an RBT/BT, you will provide 1-on-1 support to children with autism or developmental delays, helping them build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. You will work consistently with the same children, helping them make progress in their everyday environments. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where patience, energy, and creativity are valued. Training and support will be provided to meet each child's unique needs.
Responsibilities
• Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
• Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
• Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
• Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective.
• Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together.
Requirements
• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism.)
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus)
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass a background check
