Position Summary:
KIH, LLC, a large diameter hose manufacturing partner, is seeking a full-time Territory Manager to help us increase our sales revenues and maintain customer relationships. The position is responsible for promoting sales of KIH product lines, improve existing distributor relationships through direct factory assistance with distribution, warranty claims, customer sales conflicts, product evaluations and marketing. Travel is required to grow sales volume with existing distributors, establish new distributors and participate in both National and Regional Trade Shows. Candidate must excel in vendor client relationships and have a detailed knowledge of our products.
Job Responsibility:
• Continually evaluate distributor sales activity/performance and profitability in keeping with KIH’s evaluation process. Maintain territories of existing distribution networks ensuring territorial objectives are met.
· Track sales performance and analyze data, submit reports on monthly, quarterly sales outcomes.
• Provide support to distributors, including answering inquiries, sending/receiving information, coordinating activities, assisting with sales calls, and conducting training with sales personnel, on-site, in-person and via video conferencing.
• Attending and assisting distributors with state and regional trade shows and sales meetings, including supplying adequate literature.
• Prepare and provide various reports, including weekly activity summaries, trip reports, forecasts, and weekly expense accounts.
• Maintain inventory of sample selection, current sales brochures, and technical literature for shows and demonstrations.
• Attend company meetings as scheduled.
• Maintain basic home office for territory management, which includes but is not limited to maintaining supplied equipment such as computer/laptop, and phone.
• Comply with company expense reporting policy.
· Devise new product ideas and/or markets to management, using a Business Case format.
· Be informed of current market status, trends and identify target accounts.
· Establish new strategic distribution partners ensuring key strategic fundamentals are always aligned.
• Proactively offer suggestions for the improvement of a product, process, or practice.
· You must be able to travel a minimum of two weeks a month.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Must live within the assigned region.
Job Requirements:

• Degree preferred but not required.
• 2 ½ -5 years’ of experience in industrial hose manufacturing or distribution.
• Must possess a great attitude with a positive and encouraging mindset.
• Knowledge of/or willingness to learn the scope and content of industrial hose standards.
• Ability to effectively use computer software programs such as Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Exceptional technical knowledge of hose sizes, design, manufacture, and components.
• Ability to frequently spend extended periods of time driving a vehicle and/or traveling by plane.
• Ability to work extended weekend and/or evening hours, and travel out of town, often overnight.· Possession of a valid driver's license and proven safe driving record.
• Ability to stand, kneel, squat and lift items weighing 30-50 lbs.
