Responsibilities
- Gathering and preparing financial data to maintain the general ledger for all Germania entities
- Preparing bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy across assigned accounts
- Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including the NAIC Quarterly and Annual Statement
- Completing personal auto statistical filings and verifying data submitted to statistical agents and Call Reports
- Preparing estimated tax calculations for periodic remittance and financial statement recording
- Compiling information and documentation requested by internal and external auditors
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Skills
- Equivalent experience with a high school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems preferred
