Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop Engaging Training Content: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, curate, and gather data to create high-quality storyboards and educational materials in various formats, ensuring error-free content that meets the needs of diverse audiences.
- Test and Review Content: Conduct thorough testing and review of content to ensure quality assurance and adherence to The Home Depot's standards.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts: Provide guidance and support to internal and external subject matter experts to gather required work and assignment data, ensuring that content is accurate and relevant.
- Utilize eLearning Development Tools: Leverage standard eLearning development tools and software, such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate, to create engaging and interactive content.
- Communicate Project Status: Proactively communicate project and task status to client groups and management, ensuring transparency and timely updates.
- Review and Revise Content: Review and revise material against accepted The Home Depot standards for quality, ensuring that content meets the required standards.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old or older.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
- Basic knowledge of educational curricula and adult learning theories.
- Proficiency with software, including Microsoft Office.
- Basic knowledge of standard eLearning development tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal degree or certification in Curriculum, Adult Learning, Visual Communications, or related field.
- Experience with photo-editing software, such as Photoshop or GIMP.
- Experience using SharePoint.
- Experience working with video creation software, such as Camtasia or Adobe Premiere.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience.
