The Business Systems Analyst – reputed company operates with limited supervision and plays a key role in supporting business processes and enterprise technology systems, partnering closely with business units and technical teams to ensure solutions meet company standards and user requirements.
Responsibilities
• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements
• reputed company gap analysis and issue analysis to identify business needs and improvement opportunities
• Translate and simplify business requirements into clear technical specifications
• Design, document, and maintain business and system processes
• Identify and design business and/or system improvement opportunities
• Assist in the development of business cases for strategic initiatives
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project deliverables
• Manage small to mid-sized projects and/or project tasks
• Apply knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project lifecycle principles
• Ensure technology solutions meet company standards and user requirements
• Serve as liaison between business units and technical teams
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical resources
• Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide guidance and feedback to less reputed company staff
• Work collaboratively across departments to support enterprise initiatives
Skills
• 5+ years of business analyst experience
• Proven experience supporting broad-impact, cross-functional systems
• Advanced skills in requirements elicitation for business processes and system functionality
• Advanced general analysis and gap analysis skills
• Experience generating multiple types of business and/or process documentation
• Experience identifying and designing business/system improvements
• Ability to coordinate and manage small-sized projects and tasks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Organizational and documentation expertise
• Knowledge of enterprise systems and strategic solution design
• Professional Business Analyst certification (CBAP, CCBA, PBA) preferred
