They are seeking a motivated Cloud Ops Engineer to support and improve their cloud operations and infrastructure while collaborating with a team of engineers.
Responsibilities
- Support and improve our infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD pipelines
- Work alongside a strong team of Software Engineers, QA Engineers, and Cloud Ops Engineers
- Contribute to a rapidly growing portfolio of services
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure, DevOps, software engineering, or a related technical role
- Some hands-on experience with AWS or another major cloud provider
- Familiarity with deploying, configuring, or supporting cloud-based applications
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts for modern applications
- Exposure to AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation, or another infrastructure-as-code tool
- Experience with Docker or containerized applications
- Comfort using JavaScript, Python, shell scripting, or another scripting language to automate tasks
- Interest in learning how scalable, highly available systems are built and operated
- Like the freedom and responsibility of owning what you're working on
- Good oral and written communication skills, and a desire to share knowledge and collaborate with others
- BS in Computer Science or other engineering discipline
- Experience with the AWS CDK
- Having a relevant AWS certification
- Solutions Architect Associate
- Sysops Admin Associate
- Developer Associate
- Experience with blue/green, canary, or other low-downtime deployment strategies
