The role focuses on transforming scripts and concepts into engaging video ads for social media platforms, collaborating closely with the creative team to produce high-quality short-form content that aligns with brand goals.
Responsibilities
- Edit engaging short-form video ads for social media and digital marketing campaigns
- Transform scripts and creative concepts into polished, high-performing videos
- Add captions, motion graphics, animations, sound effects, music, and visual effects
- Source and incorporate stock footage, AI-generated assets, and other creative materials when needed
- Optimize videos for different social media platforms and advertising formats
- Collaborate with copywriters, marketers, designers, and other creative team members throughout the production process
- Stay up to date with editing trends, viral content formats, and emerging creative techniques
- Manage multiple editing projects while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines
Skills
- Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio
- Experience creating short-form content and video advertisements
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar editing software
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, hooks, transitions, subtitles, and sound design
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong creative eye
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with a team, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with Morioka-style design, 3D animation, and modern SaaS-style animations is highly preferred
- Experience with motion graphics and animation is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools is a plus
