Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ProSidian Consulting is a Management and Operations Consulting Firm focused on providing tailored solutions to clients. They are seeking a Data and Policy Analyst to support a U.S. government agency in consumer protection related to occupational safety and health, involving data management, policy analysis, and report communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide policy and economic analyses support services
- Review and evaluate policies to determine the benefits and impact of policy change
- Manage and analyze data, research and interpret policy and communicate findings through summary reports
- Manage and administer tasks given by the agency
- Work with an Economic Modeler and Regulatory Specialist on each project to provide deliverables to the agency
- Provide expert support for specific task areas on the contract
- Work with the agency leadership and representatives in the planning, management, executions and reporting related to reviewing and changing of policies
- Direct and support development and integration of project deliverables that are high value
- Write accurate and effective statements of work so the client and project staff understand the project expectations and roles
- Develop and maintain expertise in assigned areas of responsibility
- Contribute to the design of research projects including the development of conceptual and analytical frameworks for examining occupational health and safety
Skills
- Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years
- Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position
- Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria
- Ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least 5 years of experience providing communication and knowledge management expertise
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and written reports summarizing data collected
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to propose possible resolutions to complex managerial or operational problems
- Demonstrated expertise in knowledge management
- Demonstrated proactivity, attention to detail, working within deadlines, and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, English verbal, written, editing, research, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Master's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience with demonstrated understanding of program management, policy analysis, occupational safety and health, and data analysis
- MBA strongly preferred
- Experience in management of custom survey projects
- Familiarity with Section 504 and Section 508 disability requirements and accommodations
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
- Advanced Data Analytics (Time series regressions, knowledge of how to apply appropriate statistical models to each job task)
