They are seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to support retail forecasting, inventory planning, and sales analysis, working closely with various teams to make data-informed business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain weekly and monthly demand forecasts across retail channels
- Analyze sell-in, sell-through, inventory, and retailer POS data
- Support forecasting updates based on promotions, seasonality, and market trends
- Monitor retailer purchase orders and inventory levels to identify risks and opportunities
- Assist with forecast accuracy reporting and variance analysis
- Create and maintain Excel-based forecasting and reporting tools
- Prepare business performance reports and planning updates for internal teams
- Partner with sales, finance, and supply chain teams to align forecasts and inventory needs
- Track sales trends and support demand planning processes
- Work cross-functionally with sales, finance, supply chain, and operations teams to support inventory flow, retailer purchase orders, and forecast accuracy
- Translate large datasets into clear business insights and actionable recommendations

- Detail-oriented with past experience supporting retail forecasting, inventory planning, and sales analysis across major retail and e-commerce channels

- Ability to translate large datasets into clear business insights and actionable recommendations
- 1-2 years of experience in Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Retail Sales Analysis, Forecast Variance Analysis, Data Management/Analysis, Reporting & Dashboard Creation
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH)
- Skilled in analyzing sales trends, retailer demand, inventory levels, and promotional activity to support accurate forecasting and business planning
- Strong data analysis skills with experience building forecasting models, tracking weekly performance, and identifying sales and inventory risks/opportunities
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with internal teams and external retail partners
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
