Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vaco by Highspring is a $60B Investment/Wealth Manager, seeking a Director of Corporate FP&A and Strategic Finance. This role involves leading financial planning and advanced modeling, strategic finance and capital allocation, and serving as a strategic finance partner to executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own the master consolidated forecast model, managing internal architecture and all critical supporting data schedules
- Lead end-to-end model development for enterprise budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range strategic planning
- Advance modeling rigor and scalability, optimizing driver logic, multi-variable tracking, and predictive scenario capabilities
- Maintain and elevate complex analytical frameworks to evaluate core business run-rates, adjusted performance metrics, and long-term earnings potential
- Lead deep-dive scenario modeling and decision support regarding enterprise growth vectors, margin expansion, and capital deployment
- Provide comprehensive financial evaluation for strategic corporate initiatives, human capital expansion, and potential M&A or corporate restructuring opportunities
- Design and refine rigorous ROI frameworks, payback formulas, and capital allocation evaluation metrics
- Analyze leverage parameters, debt capacity, and structural capital optimization to support high-level treasury and strategic finance goals
- Drive process engineering across teams to eliminate inefficiencies, automate manual steps, and boost the scalability of corporate finance outputs
- Serve as the dedicated strategic finance partner to executive leadership across a major revenue-generating business division
- Translate operational KPIs and emerging market trends into clear financial implications, providing actionable decision support to senior stakeholders
- Partner with division heads to optimize unit economics, talent acquisition models, and growth benchmarking frameworks
- Drive connectivity and standardization across finance functions, establishing seamless data handoffs and absolute structural alignment
- Codify enterprise-wide financial frameworks, unifying core assumptions and modeling methodologies across disparate teams
- Champion the modernization of the finance operating model, institutionalizing clear ownership parameters to systematically reduce key-person risk
Skills
- 10+ Years of experience
- Experience in Financial Services (FS)
- Experience in a Private Equity (PE) Backed company
- Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) or Investment Banking (IB)
- Modeling expert
