Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Harmonic Finance Inc is a pioneering B2B developer tooling company seeking a Director of Finance. The role involves building a best-in-class finance function, driving insights into company performance, and shaping financial strategy during a critical growth phase.
Responsibilities
• Developing a high performing Finance function
• Extensive liaising with stakeholders and providing commercial data and insight to support internal departments
• In depth analysis of company performance, including mapping key KPI’s and SaaS metrics to help identify areas of opportunity
• Responsible for all financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities
• Developing and maintaining financial models to bring clarity to financial data for multiple areas of the business
• Business partnering with operations, marketing, HR, product and sales teams to improve internal reporting processes
• Liaising with external stakeholders including producing board packs and supporting future fundraising activity
• Oversee the accounting function
• Ad hoc strategy projects
Skills
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or similar
• 7+ years progressive finance experience, ideally with previously leading a finance function
• Experience working within a start-up SaaS organization
• Passion for technology and working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in leading and building out a finance function
• Acute eye for detail and high working standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication
