Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Harmonic Finance Inc is a rapidly scaling travel technology platform modernizing hotel distribution. The Director of FP&A & Strategic Finance will build the financial and operational infrastructure, own financial models, and support strategic initiatives while collaborating with leadership on decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Build and own the company’s FP&A and budgeting processes
- Develop and maintain operating models, forecasting tools, and long-range financial plans
- Partner closely with the VP Finance, CEO, and leadership team on strategic decision making
- Support Board reporting, investor materials, and fundraising processes for the Series B
- Develop KPI dashboards and implement data visualization tools to improve reporting and business insights
- Analyze company performance across revenue growth, margins, customer acquisition, retention, and operational efficiency
- Partner closely with Sales and GTM leadership on RevOps initiatives and commercial analytics
- Analyze Account Executive performance, sales productivity, pipeline conversion, and forecasting accuracy
- Support pricing analysis, contract negotiations, and commercial decision making
- Build scalable reporting infrastructure across sales, finance, and operations
- Improve visibility into pipeline health, conversion metrics, and revenue forecasting
- Collaborate cross-functionally across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Product teams
- Help build a world-class finance and strategic planning function capable of supporting significant future scale
Skills
- Prior experience developing FP&A and Strategic Finance in a rapid growth VC or PE backed environment
- Prior experience within a VC-backed SaaS or technology company preferred
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- Experience building forecasts, operating models, and KPI reporting frameworks
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence operational decision making
- Experience partnering with GTM or Sales leadership teams highly desirable
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with ambiguity and ownership
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Experience supporting venture fundraising or investor relations processes
- Exposure to RevOps or GTM Finance
- Experience implementing BI or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sigma, etc.)
- Prior experience in travel, hospitality, fintech, or marketplace businesses
