The EHR Analyst Lead is responsible for providing expert-level guidance for enterprise clinical applications, overseeing implementations, and ensuring compliance with governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Provides expert-level direction on complex system design, configuration, and integration
- Serves as escalation point for high-impact or cross-functional application issues
- Coordinates application build and testing activities across multiple teams to ensure quality and consistency
- Oversees large-scale upgrades, implementations, and optimization initiatives
- Develops and enforces standards, policies, and procedures for EHR build and configuration
- Guides analysts in troubleshooting, documentation, and compliance practices
- Partners with clinical leaders, governance bodies, and IT management to ensure application reliability and safety
- Leads vendor coordination for technical issues, upgrades, and new functionality
- Tracks performance metrics and ensures service levels are met across supported applications
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in the same related field
- Epic certification
