We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team of educators and teach our remote English classes. Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for teaching English classes to elementary school students, utilizing effective classroom management techniques, and providing individualized support to students who need it. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and instructional strategies, and communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Responsibilities:
- Teach English classes in a developmentally appropriate manner, using a variety of teaching methods and materials
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive and respectful learning environment
- Provide individualized support and tutoring to students who may need additional assistance, and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and instructional strategies, and share best practices and ideas
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities, and respond to parent inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, with a strong foundation in childhood development and education principles
- Experience working with students in an educational setting, with a preference for experience teaching English as a second language
- Knowledge of special education practices and early intervention strategies, with a commitment to providing inclusive and supportive education
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
