Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. X-FAB is a company focused on semiconductor foundry services. They are seeking a Field Sales Engineer who will manage existing customer relationships and develop new business opportunities in the North America region.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for identifying new business opportunities
- Work closely with our customer service teams and worldwide manufacturing sites
- Conduct contract negotiations with our business partners
- Address all related commercial aspects of our silicon foundry customers
- Match customer needs and goals to our solutions and capabilities
- Monitor markets, trend analysis and incorporation of customer feedback and providing reports to our Technology and Marketing departments
- Technically responsible for aligning customer needs with foundry capabilities through collaboration with field application engineers
Skills
- B.S. Degree in EE, Physics, Engineering or Business Administration
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Semiconductor field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales
- Proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in a business environment
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proven team member & self-starter
- Professional attitude with interpersonal and communication skills for interfacing with customers on all levels of an organization
- Proven track record of successful sales
- Ability to negotiate contracts and close deals professionally
- Experience managing large multi-national customer accounts
