The Financial Analyst role involves preparing budgets and forecasts, conducting variance analysis, and collaborating with teams to provide financial insights.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
- Performing variance analysis and identifying key drivers of performance, risks, and opportunities
- Conducting ROI analysis of special projects and initiatives and providing strategic guidance to senior management
- Performing operational and statistical analysis of company operations and customer behavior using various tools and systems
- Developing and maintaining financial models, dashboards, and reports to support decision making and business planning
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to provide financial support and insights
- Researching and benchmarking industry trends and best practices
- Explore and apply AI tools in your day-to-day work, finding new ways to simplify tasks, accelerate outcomes, and elevate your effectiveness
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- At least 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting, preferably in SaaS or the hospitality industry
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- A passion for learning and continuous improvement
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
- Communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial concepts

- Ability to manage risk
- A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in investment banking, consulting or private equity preferred
