They are seeking a Protocol Engineer to help lay the foundations of the company by managing blockchain systems and developing smart contracts.
Responsibilities
- Designing, constructing, and managing all aspects related to protocol and node encompassing blockchain systems, crypto economic mechanisms, decentralized networking, and proof generation and verification
- Developing and testing blockchain protocols and smart contracts
- Debugging and deploying large-scale decentralized systems
- Overseeing internal and external smart contract audits
Skills
- 2+ years of software engineering experience building low-level protocols
- Strong knowledge of blockchain, smart contracts, and consensus algorithms
- Experience in Rust or Go
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to learn quickly
- Ability to write high-quality and well-tested code
- Experience working with cloud-native tech stacks (e.g., AWS/GCP)
