They are seeking a Franchise Business Consultant to support Dunkin' franchisees, focusing on operational excellence, profitability, and sustainable growth through hands-on coaching and strategic consulting.
Responsibilities
- Build strong consultative relationships with franchisees and serve as a trusted operational advisor
- Conduct in-depth restaurant operational reviews, identify opportunities, and create action plans to improve performance
- Drive compliance with Dunkin' brand standards, food safety, training, and operational execution
- Provide hands-on coaching and support to franchisees, operators, and managers to improve day-to-day operations
- Analyze sales, profitability, guest metrics, labor, and operational KPIs to guide business improvement decisions
- Lead Franchise Business Reviews and annual business planning processes
- Partner with franchisees to prepare for new unit openings, remodels, and market expansion initiatives
- Support emerging markets by increasing operational readiness, strengthening franchise capability, and improving growth momentum
- Evaluate competitive activity, market dynamics, and development opportunities to help franchisees maximize market share
- Collaborate with development, training, construction, and marketing teams to support franchisee success
- Monitor the execution of local and regional marketing initiatives and operational rollouts
- Conduct frequent restaurant visits and provide follow-up accountability on improvement plans
Skills
- 5+ years of multi-unit restaurant operations leadership experience
- Experience managing multiple locations at the district, area, regional, or franchise support level
- Strong understanding of restaurant financial performance, operations, food safety, and labor management
- Demonstrated ability to coach and influence franchisees and operators without direct authority
- Experience supporting new restaurant openings, remodels, or market expansion initiatives
- Ability to travel 75-80%
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent restaurant leadership experience considered
