Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Linchpin Co. is a people operations group offering custom recruitment and consulting services. They are seeking a strategic marketing and sales leader to own the marketing and sales strategy for Vanessa and Xander, focusing on growth and AI integration while leading a talented team.
Responsibilities
- Own and continually evolve marketing strategy across evergreen funnels, lead magnets, and organic acquisition
- Strategize and run point on new initiatives, including funnel builds and live launch strategy, with revenue and LTV as core success metrics
- Set and own targets for funnel/launch performance; use data to identify where the biggest opportunities are and prioritize accordingly
- Bring outside-the-box thinking to a lower-ticket, high-volume online course business — test new offers, channels, and mechanics to aggressively drive increases in AOV rather than defaulting to what’s worked before
- Collaborate with leadership to continue developing AI tools to speed up execution, testing, and analysis across the marketing function
- Ensure strategy translates into action with creative, funnels, campaigns, and launches
- Manage contractor and vendor relationships, including ShowIt, design, and external copywriters, providing quality feedback and accountability
- Partner closely with the Head of Product and Head of Content Marketing, including Social/Podcast, to ensure marketing, product, and retention strategy are aligned
- Synthesize performance data to make recommendations that improve campaigns and funnels over time
- Lead and develop the marketing team across Copy, Systems, Graphic Design, and Web Design
- Set clear priorities, give direct and constructive feedback, and create an environment where the team can do the same with you
- Manage a team through a changing culture as the business scales and evolves to take an AI-first approach, bringing stability and clarity
Skills
- Proven experience in online courses, digital products, or lower-ticket/high-volume offers
- A track record of both strategic ownership and hands-on execution
- Fluent with AI tools as part of your daily workflow
- Comfortable giving and receiving direct feedback
- Proactive by nature; you spot problems and opportunities before being asked to look
- Resourceful and scrappy; you figure things out rather than waiting for a perfect process
- Experience leading a team through change, with the steadiness to manage culture shifts well
Benefits
- 401(k) with match up to 6%
- Unlimited PTO
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits
- Annual team retreat
