Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Trident Search is an early-stage cybersecurity vendor seeking a Head of Product Marketing. The role involves translating technical cybersecurity products into clear messaging and positioning while overseeing the product marketing function from its inception.
Responsibilities
- Messaging and positioning across the company, product and category
- Buyer-facing narratives that make technical product capabilities easy to understand
- Sales enablement, including battlecards, talk tracks, demo narratives, objection handling and competitive positioning
- Competitive intelligence and market understanding
- Analyst-facing messaging and defensible positioning
- Customer proof points, case studies and advocacy content
- The product marketing function from scratch — process, operating rhythm and core assets
Skills
- 6+ years in product marketing
- 3+ years in B2B cybersecurity
- Experience owning messaging and positioning for a technical product
- Strong writing ability across positioning docs, one-pagers, website copy, sales narratives, battlecards and launch content
- Experience working directly with AEs, SEs and customer-facing teams
- Technically credible enough to understand cybersecurity buyers, product workflows and market context
- Comfortable operating in an early-stage environment with limited structure
- Able to build, write and execute - not just manage or direct
