Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for: • Conducting therapy sessions using advanced telehealth technology, ensuring a professional and supportive atmosphere for clients. • Developing personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and client goals, demonstrating a tailored approach to mental health care. • Implementing crisis intervention strategies as necessary, empowering clients to navigate challenging situations and fostering resilience. • Maintaining meticulous and accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards. • Engaging in ongoing professional development, staying updated with the latest research and methodologies in mental health treatment to enhance therapeutic effectiveness. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will be working with a diverse client population experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and more. Your ability to empathize, understand, and connect with clients from different backgrounds will be crucial in cultivating trust and encouraging them to take active roles in their mental health treatment. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements: • A valid California license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) is mandatory. • A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. • Demonstrated experience in working with a variety of client populations, emphasizing cultural competency. • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish rapport in a virtual setting. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your application: • Experience with telehealth platforms and services, which will help in smoothly transitioning into our virtual work environment. • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies. • Experience in crisis intervention and management, particularly in virtual settings. Compensation and Benefits This position provides a competitive salary range of $110,000 – $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
