Thrive Wellness Psychological Solutions is seeking a dedicated and passionate Virtual Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. Work Environment
This full-time position is entirely remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health statuses and substance abuse histories.
• Facilitate engaging and supportive individual and group therapy sessions, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs.
• Work closely with our treatment team to ensure an integrated care approach, collaborating on client strategies and progress.
• Provide education and support for clients’ families, fostering their involvement in the recovery and treatment process.
• Keep meticulous records of client interactions and treatment in compliance with regulatory standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will primarily work with adolescents and young adults who are dealing with various mental health challenges. Our clientele includes individuals seeking therapeutic support for anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and relationship issues, all requiring a compassionate and skilled approach. Your role will be pivotal in helping them overcome obstacles and improve their overall well-being.
Qualifications
• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Current active state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• Strong proficiency in telehealth therapy, particularly with adolescents and young adults.
• Ability to embrace and engage in our evidence-based treatment frameworks known as our care pathways.
• Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in Google Suite and telehealth technology.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate therapeutic insights effectively.
Preferred Experience
• 2-3 years of experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Experience with integrating technology into therapeutic practices, ensuring effective communication and documentation.
• A warm and empathic demeanor, demonstrating excellent engagement skills with clients.
• Comfort in a remote work environment, with a reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace that upholds patient confidentiality.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
