The role involves reviewing, adapting, and improving literary content for North American audiences, focusing on quality evaluation of novels, scripts, and other narrative materials.
Responsibilities
- Adapt and localize literary content for North American readers
- Review and improve plotlines, character development, dialogue, pacing, and narrative flow
- Evaluate novels, scripts, and other literary content for quality and readability
- Support novel-to-script adaptation and script review tasks
- Perform content labeling and other quality evaluation activities
- Provide thoughtful feedback to improve the overall reader experience
- Complete assigned work within the required timeline while maintaining high quality standards
Skills
- Have lived, studied, or worked in North America for an extended period
- Strong understanding of North American language, culture, idioms, and writing conventions
- Excellent written English skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience in one or more of the following: Creative writing, Novel writing, Screenwriting, Online literature, Short dramas, Comics, Short-form video storytelling, Editorial or literary content creation
- Ability to analyze and improve narrative structure and storytelling
- Available to complete the assignment as soon as possible
- Familiarity with overseas short-drama platforms
- Experience with AI data labeling, content moderation, model evaluation, or prompt writing
- Chinese language proficiency
- Experience adapting or localizing content for different audiences
- Background in publishing, editing, journalism, or related creative industries
