They are seeking a Mentor-in-Residence for their MarTech & Growth vertical to connect with founders, operators, and investors, leveraging their extensive network and expertise.
Responsibilities
- Receive curated venture briefings matched to your domain — deep enough to speak to them with full authority
- Lead virtual and in-person roundtable meetings with groups of potential clients — owning the room, driving the conversation, and setting the tone
- Introduce selected ventures professionally and credibly, in the language your audience lives in — the attribution challenges, the performance economics, the AI-driven personalization landscape that no generalist could articulate
- Move qualified prospects from the group setting into personalized one-on-one conversations where real decisions get made
- Remove the friction. Address the doubts. Help serious people recognize a serious opportunity when it's in front of them
- Convey what ownership of a ready-built venture in their own domain actually means — the kind of entry point that doesn't come around twice
- Participate in periodic strategy sessions with the NeedTech Labs leadership team
- Represent NeedTech Labs at the standard your own reputation demands
Skills
- 15+ years of operating, building, or leading within marketing technology, growth, performance marketing, or digital advertising sectors
- A verifiable track record — executive, founder, investor, or senior operator background
- An active, trusted network of CMOs, growth operators, agency founders, brand executives, or institutional buyers in the US
- The confidence to open doors based on credibility, not a script
- Based in the United States
- Driven by impact and long-term relationship value, not just short-term fees
